Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Phlebotomist II for Burke, VA, Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, with rotational weekends. Pay range is $23.20–$24.90 per hour. Responsibilities include specimen collection, processing, data entry, and adherence to department policies.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Verify orders using lab systems and client contact.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Enter billing information and collect payments when required.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport prep.
