Job summary

Octapharma Plasma seeks a Plasma Donation Technician to perform plasmapheresis procedures, venipunctures, and donor care in a fast-paced center. You will ensure safety, quality, and compliance with FDA SOPs, OSHA, CLIA, and GMP, while maintaining donor confidentiality and a positive donor experience.

You will operate automated plasmapheresis equipment, monitor alarms, document exceptions, and participate in calibration, maintenance, and QA activities.

Qualifications

• Three (3) months experience in a medical or health care environment or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Completed documentation of training appropriate for duties, prior to performing duties independently.

Responsibilities

• Execute venipunctures and plasma collection.
• Operate automated plasmapheresis machines and respond to alarms.
• Maintain donor confidentiality and ensure donor safety and comfort.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and perform FIFO inventory tasks.
• Document machine logs and Donor floor performance with QA support.
• Provide training as a designated trainer and mentor team members.
