Job summary

Octapharma Plasma, Inc. in the United States is seeking a Donor Apheresis Technician to execute plasmapheresis, perform venipunctures, and ensure donor safety, comfort and compliance with FDA SOPs and other regulations.

You will operate automated plasmapheresis machines, respond to alarms, maintain accurate machine logs and donor records, mentor teammates as a designated trainer, and uphold clean, safe work areas.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal protocol.
• Basic computer knowledge and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipunctures and plasma collection.
• Maintain donor identification, confidentiality and donor comfort.
• Set up equipment and label samples for plasmapheresis.
• Operate plasmapheresis machines, respond to alarms, and document exceptions.
• Maintain logs and donor floor records; uphold safety protocols.
• Mentor teammates as a designated trainer; participate in QA initiatives.
