Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Bedford, TX is seeking a Phlebotomist I for a Monday–Friday schedule, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with rotational weekends. Pay starts at $20.80+ per hour. Benefits include comprehensive programs and opportunities for career advancement.

Training and performance-based bonuses may apply. The successful candidate will collect specimens, confirm orders in lab systems, and maintain logs while ensuring accuracy and quality.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred. Required in California, Nevada, and Washington.

Responsabilidades

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions according to established training.
• Research test/client information and verify orders using lab technology systems.
• Navigate a computer and accurately enter data.
• Obtain identification and enter billing information and collect payments when required.
• Process specimens including labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, and preparing for transport.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, stock, sanitizing, filing, answering phones, emailing.
• Read, understand and comply with departmental policies, protocols and procedures.
• Assist with compilation and submission of statistics and data.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs (maintenance and temperature logs).
• Complete online and in-person training courses timely.
