Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Dallas, TX is seeking a Phlebotomist I to join our team from Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with rotational weekends. The position offers a pay range around $20.80+ per hour and potential annual bonus depending on performance.

Strong attention to accuracy and customer service is essential. Responsibilities include specimen collection, lab data entry, and adherence to safety and privacy protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred. Required in California, Nevada, and Washington.

Responsabilités

• Collect specimens according to established procedures, including drug screens, biometric screening and insurance exams.
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Research test/client information and verify orders using lab systems and approved tools.
• Navigate a computer and enter data accurately.
• Obtain identification and enter billing information and collect payments when required.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing and preparing for transport.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, phones and emails.
• Read, understand and comply with departmental policies and procedures.
• Assist with compilation and submission of statistics and data.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs timely (maintenance, temperature logs).
• Complete online and in-person training courses timely.
