Quest Diagnostics North Easton, MA is seeking a Phlebotomist I to join our team Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with rotational weekends. The role focuses on specimen collection and accurate processing. This position offers competitive pay, a comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred. Required in California, Nevada, and Washington.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures.
• Administer oral solutions according to established training.
• Research test/client information and confirm and verify all orders using lab systems.
• Navigate a computer and enter data accurately.
• Obtain identification and enter billing information and collect payments when required.
• Process specimens including labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing and preparing for transport.
• Perform non-patient facing duties (inventory, stock, sanitizing, filing, phones, email).
• Read, understand and comply with departmental policies.
• Assist with statistics and data submissions.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs timely (maintenance, temperature).
• Complete online and in-person training courses timely.
