Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Plano, TX is seeking a Phlebotomist II to collect specimens, perform phlebotomy procedures, and support patient care in a high-volume laboratory environment. The schedule is Monday to Thursday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Friday 8:00 AM–1:00 PM with rotational Saturdays; pay starts at $20.80 per hour and may include an annual bonus.

English communication and accurate data entry are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Three years phlebotomy experience including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record, if applicable.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English.

Aufgaben

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Research test/client information and verify orders using lab systems and approved tools.
• Navigate a computer and enter data accurately.
• Obtain identification and enter billing information and collect payments where required.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, preparing for transport.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, phones, emails.
• Read, understand, and comply with policies, protocols, and procedures.
• Assist with statistics/data compilation and submission.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs (maintenance, temperature, etc.).
• Complete online and in-person training courses timely.
