Quest Diagnostics in Arlington, MA is seeking a Phlebotomist I to join our team. Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM with rotational weekends. Pay range: $22.80 - $24.45 per hour, with potential annual bonus based on performance.

Responsibilities include specimen collection, data entry, processing specimens, and maintaining logs. Strong customer service and English communication are required. High school diploma or equivalent; phlebotomy training preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Medical training such as medical assistant or paramedic is preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification is preferred; required in CA, NV, WA.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (e.g., drug screens, biometrics).
• Administer oral solutions as trained.
• Verify orders and enter data using lab technology systems.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Obtain identification and process billing information per policy.
• Process specimens including labeling, centrifuging, and preparing for transport.
• Perform non-patient facing duties (inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, phones, email).
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and complete training timely.
