Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in South Richmond Hill, NY seeks a Phlebotomist I to collect specimens and support lab operations. Schedule is Monday–Friday 10 AM–5 PM with rotating Saturdays 7 AM–2 PM. Pay range is $24.00–$25.70 per hour, with potential annual bonus based on performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in CA, NV, WA.

Responsabilités

• Collect specimens according to established procedures.
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Verify test/client orders using lab systems and approved tools.
• Navigate a computer and enter data accurately.
• Enter billing information and collect payments per policy.
• Process specimens including labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, and transport prep.
• Perform non-patient duties: inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, phones.
• Read and comply with department policies and procedures.
• Assist with statistics and data submissions.
