Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Crestview, FL is seeking a Phlebotomist I to work Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM with rotational weekends. The pay range starts at $20.00 per hour, with potential for annual bonus depending on performance.

Responsibilities include specimen collection, data entry, and processing, while maintaining customer service standards. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent; medical training preferred; phlebotomy certification preferred

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in CA, NV, and WA.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures.
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Research test/client information and verify orders using lab systems.
• Navigate a computer and enter data accurately.
• Obtain and enter billing information and collect payments per policy.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport prep.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, stock, sanitizing, filing, phones, email.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
