Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Arlington, MA is seeking a Phlebotomist I to join our team. This role operates Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM with rotational weekends. Pay ranges from $22.80 to $24.45 per hour, with eligibility for annual bonus based on performance.

The candidate will collect specimens, perform routine testing prep, and ensure accurate data entry and billing. English communication skills are required, and medical training or phlebotomy certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical training (medical assistant or paramedic) preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, WA).
• 1 year phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions per training.
• Verify orders using lab tech systems and client contact.
• Navigate computer and enter data accurately.
• Enter billing information and collect payments per policy.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport prep.
