Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated is seeking a Phlebotomist II for Frisco, TX, with a Monday-Thursday 7:30 AM–5:00 PM and Friday 7:30 AM–12:30 PM schedule. The role collects specimens, performs data entry, and supports lab operations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, capillary.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Research test/client information and verify orders using lab technology systems.
• Navigate a computer and accurately enter data.
• Enter billing information and collect payments when required.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing and transport prep.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, stock supplies, sanitizing, filing, phones, emails.
• Read, understand and comply with departmental policies and procedures.
• Assist with statistics and data submission.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and complete trainings timely.
