Job summary

CityMD in Berkeley Heights, NJ is seeking a Phlebotomy Technician to join our satellite lab team. You will draw blood cultures, process specimens, and support rapid testing in a fast-paced clinical setting.

The role requires at least 2 years of phlebotomy experience, HS diploma, and familiarity with LIS systems. This full-time position offers a rotating Saturday/Sunday schedule and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years of phlebotomy experience.
• Phlebotomy Technician Certification preferred; may be required for location.

Responsibilities

• Draw blood cultures using aseptic technique.
• Process specimens and document results in LIS.
• Prepare home collection containers and ensure proper sample labeling.
• Collect urine drug screens and perform rapid tests.
• Train new staff on lab policies and procedures.
