Job summary

TalentBurst is seeking a Phlebotomist Float for onsite work in Avon, CT. This six-month contract involves covering multiple locations and roles, with shift hours Monday–Friday and occasional Saturdays.

The Phlebotomist III- Float will draw blood samples, prepare specimens, and interact with patients with professionalism. Qualified candidates have a high school diploma (MA/paramedic training preferred) and phlebotomy certification (required in CA/NV/WA).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical training (MA or paramedic) preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in CA/NV/WA.

Responsibilities

• Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing.
• Explain procedures to patients and create a calm, trusting environment.
• Provide coverage at multiple locations and for multiple roles as needed.
• Lead one or more PSR on site and coach new staff.
