Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Phlebotomist II - Float for Pompano Beach, FL. This contract role (5 months) covers multiple sites with a 6:00 AM–3:00 PM schedule and rotational Saturdays.

Floats require reliable transportation and the ability to travel between sites while drawing quality blood samples for lab testing. The position is onsite, with mileage reimbursement available and on-site duties at Patient Service Centers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred in some states.
• Florida credentials preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily activities accurately and on time.
• Maintain a safe and professional environment.
• Performs with confidence, both the forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.
• Perform verification of patient demographic info / initials including patient signature post-venipuncture to verify tubes were labeled in their presence and that the name on the label is correct.
• Maintains required records and documentation.
• Demonstrates organizational commitment and promotes a positive image to patients, clients, employees and the public in general.
