Job summary

TalentBurst is seeking a Phlebotomist Floater - 1st Shift in Fairfield, CT to draw blood and prepare specimens for lab testing. You will provide coverage across multiple sites, lead on-site activities, and mentor staff while maintaining patient trust and safety.

Ideal candidates have five years of phlebotomy experience, PSC/IOP exposure, strong customer service skills, and a professional approach to confidentiality and accuracy in handling patient data.

Qualifications

• Five years phlebotomy experience required.
• Minimum 3 years in a PSC/IOP environment preferred.
• Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.

Responsibilities

• Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing.
• Provide coverage at multiple locations for multiple roles.
• Lead daily activity on site and coach new employees.
• Explain procedures to patients and obtain consent.
• Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of patient information.
• Collaborate with Sales, Laboratory Testing Services, IT connectivity, Billing, and Logistics due to complex orders.
