Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Somerset, NJ team. The role involves collecting blood samples via venipuncture and capillary methods across patient ages, and ensuring accurate data entry and specimen handling.

You will provide excellent patient service, travel to additional sites as needed, and support administrative tasks. A High School diploma and phlebotomy certification or equivalent training are required, with bilingual Spanish a plus.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy skills including venipuncture and capillary collection.
• Ability to collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Strong data entry and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain logs of patient data.
