Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Baltimore, MD. Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm, with flexibility and Saturdays as assigned.

The role involves venipuncture and capillary blood collection for all ages, data entry, billing support, specimen preparation, and ensuring accurate patient information while delivering excellent customer service. Travel to additional sites may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Other Duties as assigned
