Job summary

Barrette Workforce Solutions, LLC is seeking a Phlebotomist for Oceanside, CA location. The role covers 6 AM to 6 PM on weekdays with 8-hour shifts, requiring occasional weekend rotation. This contract position lasts about 3 months with potential for permanent placement.

Pay is $20.25 per hour, with mileage expenses paid when floating to PSC locations in Vista and Encinitas. A clean driving record and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state.
• Minimum 6 months' venipuncture experience in fast-paced lab or hospital.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and specimen labeling.
• Centrifuge specimens and record maintenance data.
• Explain venipuncture procedures clearly to patients.
• Package specimens for transport and track test requisitions.
• Comply with OSHA/DEP regulations and attend trainings.
• Answer inquiries and maintain patient information.
