The position runs 6AM to 6PM, Monday through Friday, with weekend rotation as needed. The role may require travel to PSC locations in Vista and Encinitas, with mileage expenses reimbursed.

A valid phlebotomy certificate and reliable transportation are required. Responsibilities include blood draws, labeling, centrifuging, and maintaining proper documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens accurately.
• Centrifuge specimens and record maintenance data.
• Decontaminate work areas and update patient information.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients and ensure specimen integrity.
