Sun Recruiting, Inc. seeks a Phlebotomist in Oceanside, CA to support blood collection, labeling, and specimen processing. This contract position runs about 3 months with potential for extension or permanent placement.

Shift coverage 6 AM–6 PM, Monday–Friday, with occasional weekend rotation and mileage reimbursement for travel to PSC locations in Vista and Encinitas. Requires a valid phlebotomy certification, 6 months venipuncture experience, and proficiency with MS Office; clean driving record

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state of employment.
• Minimum 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and specimen labeling.
• Centrifuge specimens and record maintenance data.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure proper storage.
• Follow OSHA/DEP regulations and attend trainings.
