Essenti Talent in Oceanside, CA is seeking a Phlebotomist for a 3-month contract with potential for permanent placement. The role requires performing blood draws, labeling and transporting specimens, and adhering to safety protocols.

The schedule is 6 AM to 6 PM, Monday through Friday, with weekend rotation and possible early starts. Mileage expenses are paid and candidates must have a valid phlebotomy certification and a clean driving record.

• Experience doing blood draws and venipuncture in fast-paced settings.
• Labeling and processing specimens per procedures.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Mansioni

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly and courteously to patients.
• Match laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes and label correctly.
• Package specimens for transport and maintain specimen integrity.
