Kingfisher Recruiting is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract role in Oceanside, CA. The position involves performing blood draws, labeling and processing specimens, and maintaining accurate data records. Schedule is 6 AM–6 PM, Mon–Fri, with weekend rotation, 8-hour shifts, starting early or late depending on location.

The role may require travel to PSC locations in Vista and Encinitas, with mileage paid. A clean driving record and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• High school diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Experience doing blood draws.
• Labeling specimens and centrifuging specimens.
• Recording maintenance data and decontamination.
• Updating patient information as required.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly and courteously.
