Job summary

SteveRecruiter, LLC is seeking a skilled phlebotomist for a contract role in Ashland, Oregon. The position runs Mon-Fri, 8:30am-5pm, for an initial 3-month assignment with potential to extend or convert to permanent.

Responsibilities include drawing blood, labeling and processing specimens, maintaining accurate records, and complying with OSHA/DEP regulations. A state phlebotomy certification is required, with at least 6 months of venipuncture experience.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification required for the state of employment.
• Minimum of 6 months venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2 years of phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and sample labeling.
• Centrifuge specimens and maintain data logs.
• Explain venipuncture procedures clearly to patients.
• Package and transport specimens following protocols.
• Ensure specimen integrity and correct labeling.
• Adhere to OSHA and DEP regulations and attend trainings.
• Answer inquiries and review laboratory results as needed.
