Food Management Search, Inc. seeks an experienced phlebotomist for a contract position in Colonial Heights, VA. Schedule is 7:45am-4:30pm, Monday through Friday, with an initial 3-month term and potential for permanent placement.

Prior blood-draw, labeling, and specimen handling are essential. Responsibilities include performing venipuncture, labeling and processing specimens, and maintaining accurate records while complying with OSHA regulations.

Competenze

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed.
• Minimum 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• High School Diploma or GED; proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Mansioni

• Perform blood draws and label specimens per procedures.
• Centrifuge specimens and maintain accurate maintenance data.
• Record patient information and ensure specimen integrity.
• Explain venipuncture procedure clearly to patients and handle transport of specimens.
