Job summary

ExcelliSearch, Inc. is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract role in Colonial Heights, VA. Schedule is 7:45am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday, with an initial duration of about 3 months and potential for permanent placement.

Responsibilities include performing blood draws, labeling and processing specimens, and adhering to OSHA regulations. Minimum qualifications include a phlebotomy certification and at least 6 months of venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting; benefits

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting
• High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens.
• Centrifuge specimens and maintain records.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly and courteously.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure specimen integrity.
