Management Performance Associates is seeking a Phlebotomist in Colonial Heights, VA for a 3-month contract with potential for permanent placement. Schedule is 7:45am-4:30pm, Monday through Friday.

The role involves drawing blood, labeling and handling specimens, and ensuring accurate documentation according to lab procedures. Benefits are available; prior phlebotomy certification and six months' experience are required.

Formación

• Valid phlebotomy certification for the state of employment.
• Minimum of 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; High School Diploma or GED.

Responsabilidades

• Experience performing blood draws and labeling specimens.
• Centrifuging specimens and recording maintenance data.
• Collecting, storing and transporting specimens per procedures.
• Explain venipuncture steps clearly to patients.
• Ensure specimen integrity and accurate patient information.
