Ridgemont Resources, Inc. is seeking a Phlebotomist for a 3-month contract in Colonial Heights, VA. Schedule is 7:45am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday. Responsibilities include blood draws, specimen labeling, and processing under supervision, with potential for permanent employment.

Required are a state phlebotomy certification, at least 6 months of venipuncture experience in a fast-paced setting, and high school diploma or GED. Benefits are available.

Competenze

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• High School Diploma or GED

Mansioni

• Experience doing blood draws and labeling specimens in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• Perform centrifuging, maintain records, and update patient information.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients.
• Label, centrifuge, and prepare specimens per test orders.
• Ensure test requisitions match scripts and package specimens for transport.
• Adhere to OSHA/DEP regulations and attend trainings.
