Job summary

KingRecruitingServices seeks a contract Phlebotomist in Ashland, OR, for 3 months with potential for permanent placement. Mon–Fri 8:30am–5pm, 3–month contract, benefits available.

Responsibilities include blood draws, specimen labeling, centrifugation, and compliant handling per protocol. Requires phlebotomy certification and 6 months' experience in a fast-paced lab; MS Office skills preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certification in phlebotomy and ability to venipuncture.
• Experience with labeling and processing specimens in a clinical lab.
• Familiarity with OSHA/DEP safety regulations and standard precautions.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and venipuncture according to protocol.
• Label, centrifuge, and store specimens per test order.
• Record maintenance data and update patient information.
• Explain procedures clearly and courteously to patients.
• Ensure specimens are transported and stored correctly.
• Maintain compliance with OSHA/DEP regulations and attend trainings.
