Workforce Recruiter is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract role in Monroe, NY. The position involves performing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging samples, and maintaining accurate patient records.

It is a float assignment with a Mon–Thurs 8:00am–5:30pm schedule and Fri 8:00am–1:00pm, with a projected duration of 3 months and potential for permanent placement. Responsibilities include collecting and storing specimens, ensuring proper labeling, and adhering to OSHA and DEP

Formación

• Valid phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• High School Diploma or GED, proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsabilidades

• Perform blood draws, labeling specimens and centrifuging specimens.
• Record maintenance data and decontamination; update patient information as required.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly and courteously; collect and transport specimens per protocol.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure proper labeling and storage per test order.
