Talent With Heart is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract role in Monroe, NY with potential for permanent placement. The role requires experience in blood collection, specimen labeling, and adherence to lab procedures.

Responsibilities include drawing blood, labeling and routing specimens, maintaining accurate patient data, and complying with OSHA/DEP regulations. Schedule is Mon-Thu 8:00–5:30, Fri 8:00–1:00, with an initial 3-month duration and benefits available.

Formación

• Valid phlebotomy certification for the state.
• Minimum 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED

Responsabilidades

• Perform blood draws, label specimens and centrifuge specimens.
• Record maintenance data, decontamination, and updating patient information.
• Explain the venipuncture process clearly to patients and demonstrate technique with straight and butterfly needles.
• Package specimens for transport and store samples according to protocol and required temperatures.
