Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed.
• Minimum of 6 months' venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsabilités

• Perform blood draws and collect specimens.
• Label and centrifuge specimens and maintain data logs.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients.
• Match requisitions to specimens and ensure proper labeling.
• Package specimens for transport and store per protocol.
• Comply with OSHA and DEP regulations and attend trainings.
• Answer inquiries by reading lab results.
