Schedule: Mon–Thu 8:00am–5:30pm, Fri 8:00am–1:00pm; float position.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months' experience performing venipunctures in a clinical setting.
• Proficiency with specimen labeling and sample handling.
• High school diploma or GED; phlebotomy certification may be required depending on state.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens.
• Centrifuge specimens and maintain data records.
• Ensure specimens are stored and transported according to procedures.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients and comply with OSHA/DEP regulations.
