Job summary

You will work Mon-Thu 8:00am-5:30pm and Fri 8:00am-1:00pm, with a float location. Requires phlebotomy certification and at least 6 months of venipuncture experience; proficiency with Microsoft Office is expected, and benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Valid phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and venipuncture according to physician orders.
• Label, centrifuge, and store specimens following proper procedures.
• Document maintenance data and ensure 100% accuracy of requisitions.
• Explain procedures to patients clearly and courteously.
• Ensure specimens are transported and stored per protocol.
