Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Augusta, GA. You will perform skilled specimen collections and provide exceptional customer service in a Patient Service Center or Client office, with opportunities for growth.

Schedule is Monday–Friday 6:00am–6:00pm with rotating Saturdays; travel to additional sites may be required. A valid phlebotomy certification or training, or 3+ months experience, is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Preferred: one year or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
