Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to work in a Patient Service Center. You will perform skilled specimen collections, provide exceptional customer service, and be the face of the company.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, AS NEEDED with a variable schedule, not to exceed 19 hours per week. There are opportunities for growth within the organization and potential travel to additional sites as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent Phlebotomy certification or completed training program.
• 1 year or more phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to work independently and with a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
