Job summary

Labcorp in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in a Patient Service Center or Client office. You will perform skilled specimen collections and provide excellent customer service, representing the company to patients.

The role offers daily schedule Monday–Friday 7:00am–7:00pm with rotating weekends and opportunities for growth within Labcorp. Phlebotomy certification or training is preferred; prior experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
