Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Statesboro, GA. The role involves performing blood collections, collecting specimens for various tests, and delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

You will work in either a Patient Service Center or Client office, with opportunities for growth and a schedule Monday–Friday between 7:00am–6:00pm, with rotating Saturdays. This casual position offers exposure to diverse clinical settings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
