Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to work in a Patient Service Center. You will perform skilled specimen collections and provide exceptional customer service, acting as the face of Labcorp.

The role offers opportunities for growth within the organization and will be based on a candidate’s skills and experience. Schedule is Monday-Saturday, AS NEEDED with a variable schedule and a maximum of 19 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months experience required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to enter patient information accurately and timely.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
• Other Duties as assigned.
