Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (education) required.
• Phlebotomy training experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and process venous and capillary blood samples for laboratory analysis.
• Provide courteous customer service to patients and stakeholders of the laboratory department.
• Assist in training phlebotomy students, nursing or laboratory personnel as directed.
• Demonstrate compliance with corporate, departmental and job-specific requirements.
• Identify problems related to work activities and participate in Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement efforts.
