Job summary

TTUHSC in Amarillo seeks a Phlebotomist to draw blood from patients in a correctional hospital facility for analysis and other medical purposes. The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and adherence to healthcare protocols in a demanding environment.

  • Provide HIV post counseling for CID department and complete HIVpre-release testing.
  • Works with phlebotomist to maintain laboratory cleanliness inaccordance with ACA standards
  • Maintains laboratory licensing and credentials to ensure thelab is in compliance with operating standards as stated withinpolicy.
