Job summary

McKinsey & Company is seeking a leader in the Philanthropy space within the SHaPE Practice to drive growth, partnerships, and measurable societal impact. You will shape opportunities with foundations, NGOs, and high-net-worth networks, guiding client activation and strategy across the full lifecycle.

You will work with regional leadership to expand McKinsey's impact in philanthropy, building a robust pipeline, coordinating with CSTs, and delivering best-in-class development and proposal

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience focused on strategy and management consulting to social sector organizations or internal strategy roles.
• Experience developing executive-level communications and strategy materials.
• Able to navigate fast-paced, ambiguous environments and manage multiple initiatives concurrently.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end client activation activities and maintain rigorous pipeline hygiene.
• Cultivate deep relationships with foundations, NGOs, and philanthropists to generate opportunities.
• Collaborate with CSTs and Practice leadership across regions to shape and pursue priorities.
• Develop go-to-market strategies and craft compelling proposals for priority clients.
