Job summary

CSL Vifor is seeking a dedicated Center Operations Assistant to prepare the donor area, equipment, and pheresis processors for each procedure. You will monitor the donor and process, respond to alarms, and disconnect the donor when completed, ensuring safety and accuracy.

Responsibilities include recording incidents with the PDA, linking equipment to donors, maintaining data in the donor information system, and following SOPs.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three (3) months’ work experience, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Will perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitors the donor and the pheresis process, responds to alarms or signals.
• Disconnects the donor when the process is complete.
• Maintains awareness of donor reactions during or after the pheresis process and notifies staff as needed.
• Uses PDA to record incidents, link equipment to donors, and log donor data in the information system.
• Maintains clean, safe work environment and ensures supplies are available.
• Cross-training and bilingual skills may be required.
