Job summary

CSL Vifor in Joliet, IL seeks a donor services technician to prepare donor materials, donor area and pheresis equipment for processing. You will closely monitor the donor and pheresis process and respond to alarms, ensuring donor safety from start to finish.

The role requires maintaining accurate donor data in the electronic system, recording incidents with the PDA, and complying with SOPs and safety policies in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months’ work experience, preferably in medical or health provider environment.
• Able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitor the donor and the pheresis process, respond to alarms or signals during the process.
• Disconnect the donor when the process is complete.
• Maintain alertness to donor reactions and notify staff as needed.
• Use PDA to record incidents and link equipment to donors.
• Record donor data in the electronic donor information management system per SOPs.
• Follow HSE/OSHA policies and maintain a clean, safe work area.
