Job summary

CSL is seeking a dedicated technician to prepare pheresis equipment and donors for the pheresis process. You will monitor the donor and machine, respond to alarms, and safely disconnect the donor when complete, ensuring accurate data entry and adherence to safety protocols.

The role requires attention to donor safety, ability to manage equipment and recording systems, and flexibility to support center operations as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.
• Ability to monitor donor safety and respond to alarms during pheresis procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitor the donor and the pheresis process; respond to alarms or signals.
• Disconnect the donor when the process is complete.
• Maintain awareness of donor reactions during/after pheresis and notify staff.
