Job summary

CSL Plasma is seeking a detail-oriented individual to support the pheresis process, prepare the autopheresis machine, and monitor donors during collection. You will record incidents via PDA, ensure correct donor-data linkage, and maintain a clean, safe work environment in compliance with SOPs and safety policies.

Reporting to the Assistant Center Manager, you may cross-train in other areas and participate in ongoing safety training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three months’ work experience, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent.
• Will perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitor the donor and the pheresis process, responds to alarms or signals.
• Disconnect the donor when the process is complete.
• Maintain alertness to any donor reaction and notify staff as needed.
• Record incidents and donor data using the PDA and link equipment to donors.
• Alert Group Leader or Supervisor of donor flow issues.
• Ensure accurate recording of donor data in the donor information management system.
• Follow SOPs and health safety policies; maintain confidentiality.
