Job summary

CSL Plasma is seeking a donor center technician to prepare the autopheresis machine and monitor donors during pheresis. You will record incidents with the PDA, ensure proper linkage of equipment to donors, and maintain accurate donor data according to SOPs. Safety, confidentiality, and willingness to cross-train are required.

Responsibilities include responding to alarms, disconnecting donors after the process, and maintaining a clean work environment while following HSE/OSHA policies.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 months in medical/health provider environment.
• Will perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitor the donor and pheresis process and respond to alarms or signals.
• Disconnect the donor when the process is complete.
• Record incidents and donor data using the PDA and link equipment to the donor.
• Alert supervisor of donor flow issues and ensure accurate donor data in the donor information system.
• Follow SOPs, HSE and OSHA policies and maintain confidentiality.
• May be cross-trained in other areas as needed.
