Job summary

CSL in Springdale, AR is seeking a responsible team member to support the pheresis process. You will prepare the donor, area, and equipment, monitor the procedure, and respond to alarms to keep operations safe and efficient.

Responsibilities include recording donor data in the electronic system, maintaining a clean work environment, and following all HSE and OSHA guidelines. A High school diploma and at least 3 months in a medical setting are required; bilingual abilities may be beneficial.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in medical or health provider environment preferred.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare donor, donor area and equipment for pheresis process.
• Prepare the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitor the donor and pheresis process; respond to alarms.
• Disconnect the donor when the process is complete.
• Maintain awareness of donor reactions and notify staff as needed.
• Record incidents and donor data in the PDA and electronic system.
• Link equipment and supplies to the appropriate donor in the system.
• Notify supervisor of donor flow issues.
• Ensure accurate recording of donor data per SOPs.
• Maintain clean work environment and adhere to HSE/OSHA policies.
• Maintain donor, personnel and center information confidentiality.
• May be cross-trained in other areas.
