Job summary

CSL in Little Rock, Arkansas is seeking a role responsible for preparing the donor, donor area and equipment for pheresis processors. This position reports to the Assistant Center Manager and supports ongoing donor flow and process readiness.

Responsibilities include preparing autopheresis equipment, monitoring the donor and process, responding to alarms, and ensuring accurate data entry in the donor information system. The role emphasizes safety, confidentiality, and compliance with SOPs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of three months’ work experience in a medical or health provider setting or equivalent.
• Basic math calculations required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitors the donor and the pheresis process and responds to alarms or signals.
• Disconnects the donor when the process is complete.
• Maintains alertness to donor reactions and notifies staff as needed.
• Uses a PDA to record incidents, alarms, and donor events.
• Links equipment and supplies used in the pheresis process to the donor.
• Alerts Group Leader or Supervisor of donor flow issues.
• Ensures accurate donor data recording in the electronic donor information system per SOPs.
• Understands policies related to hyper immune programs if applicable.
• Maintains a clean, efficient work environment and ensures supplies are available; follows HSE/OSHA policies.
• Maintains confidentiality of all personnel, donor, and center information.
• May be cross-trained in other areas to meet business needs.
• Bilingual skills may be required to meet business needs.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
