Job summary

CSL is seeking a Plasma Pheresis Technician to collect plasma from donors through venipuncture and monitor the pheresis process on site in Missouri. The role requires strict adherence to SOPs and FDA guidelines while ensuring donor safety and efficiency.

You will educate donors, document incidents with a PDA, and assist with equipment alarms and maintenance, maintaining confidentiality and a safe environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum twelve (12) months experience in a medical or health care environment preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture to begin pheresis and monitor the pheresis process per SOPs.
• Assist with donor setup, monitoring, and disconnect to ensure efficient plasma collection.
• Maintain donor safety and product quality; address donor questions and provide information.
• Record incidents and machine alerts using a PDA and document outcomes.
• Calibrate and verify equipment, respond to alarms, and resolve donor issues.
• Maintain confidentiality of donor and center information and ensure a safe work environment.
